  Took my dog in to get spayed. Very clean and friendly. Excellent customer service. I received home instructions and they took my dog all the way to my car after we were done. Very punctual and I had almost no wait. Also very affordable pet care. Will definitely return for future needs.

  They saved me so much money when all I needed was a heart worm check and necessary medication. My dog had already had a yearly checkup by my regular vet who forgot to do the test and then wanted to charge me another office visit which with the visit and test would have cost nearly $100.00. I call another vet and they wanted about the same amount. I call planned Pethood and they gave me a price of $20.00 and I didn't have to pay a office visit. I also got my medication cheaper than what I was paying at my regular vet. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats that will now be patients of planned Pethood. I did have to wait an 1 1/2 hours but, when you have to take this many animals to the vet yearly, it gets very costly. The people working there are very friendly and helpful and also very efficient. I am just glad a friend referred me to them. Thanks to planned Pethood for. being here and thanks for being affordable.

  The staff is great with the animals and people and very reasonably priced. Yes there is a wait but they are a non profit and a LOT less expensive. For those complaining you are free to go to regular vets where they sometimes dont care and most times are so overpriced you cannot afford it. My suggestion is go early during the week since the wait is not as long those days

  I had to put my 14 year old cat down. Things did not proceed normally, it's already a highly emotional situation, and with her being so old and sick it just went kind bad. She has a reaction to the medication to sedate her which caused her to vomit. They had left me alone with her to say goodbye, cry, etc... Well when she vomited I freaked out, it had never happened with any of my other pet's. Now this was my 1st pet I had gotten so there is a whole added layer of emotion. They said it would probably be better to take her for the final shot, after supplying a new clean towel for her, a bunch of tissues for me, and a shoulder to cry on. After they took her, they were afraid they may have to stick her more than once because she was dehydrated and I was already not handling the situation well, I started freaking out worse. I had been there for all my other pets and I was feeling sooooo guilty I had let her down and I was a horrible "mommy" for letting them talk me into putting my sanity above her needs. Someone sat with me the whole time, someone else got me something to drink, and than someone else came in to help comfort me. They were wonderful. They took one of the most heart wrenching experiences and took it upon themselves to not only not.make me feel like an idiot for being so upset, but to actually comfort me. I feel they went above and beyond and I'll never forget that.
